SCHENECTADY, NY -- Union College senior Melissa Hine has been named the Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Co-Offensive Performer of the Week for games through April 17. She shares the honor with Skidmore's Lindsay Stavola.

Hine helped lead Union to two home league wins and a clinch of a berth in the Liberty League post season tournament. She scored two goals and dished out five assists for seven points in a win over William Smith, then had four assists with two goals and five ground balls in a win over Rochester. She is fifth in the league in points with 46, with 21 goals and 25 assists. She is second in the league in assists per game.

Union is 8-4 overall and 6-1 in the league. The Dutchwomen have already clinched a Liberty League post season tournament berth. The Dutchwomen are at #4 SUNY Cortland Thursday and host SUNY Brockport Saturday.
