How to Reach Union
By Car
From the south and east:
From New York State Thruway exit 24, take the Northway (I-87) north to exit 6 (marked 'Route 7 west'). Follow Route 7 west for 6.5 miles and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.8 miles (past campus on your right) and take a right at a light onto Seward Place. Follow Seward Place to stop light and make a right on Nott Street. At the first light make a right into campus...(see specific venues below)...
From the north:

From the west:
From Thruway exit 26, take I-890 east to exit 4 (Erie Boulevard). Follow Erie Boulevard north to Union Street (second light after the Amtrak station), turn right onto Union Street, and follow for .9 miles and make a left at a light onto Seward Place. Follow Seward Place to stop light and make a right on Nott Street. At the first light make a right into campus....(see specific venues below)...
TO MESSA RINK AT ACHILLES CENTER (Men's and Women's Ice Hockey):
Take first left once on campus and the rink will be the second building on your left.
NOTE to BUS DRIVERS: Campus security will escort the bus to College Park Hall for parking while team is at the rink. Driver may either stay with the bus or be driven back to the rink by Campus Security).
TO BAILEY FIELD (Field Hockey, Football, Men's and Women's Lacrosse)
Take first left once on campus, pass Messa Rink on your left, and Bailey Field is on your left.
TO ALEXANDER FIELD (Softball):
Take first left once on campus, pass Messa Rink then Bailey Field on your left, and Alexander Field is on the left, across from Alumni Gymnasium.
TO GARIS FIELD (Women's Soccer):
Take first left once on campus, parking is on your immediate right across from Messa Rink. Geris Field is a short walk, to the left of the Field House.
TO TENNIS COURTS:
Take first left once on campus, pass Messa Rink then Bailey Field on your left. Pass Alexander Field on th left and Alumni Gymnasium on the right, take first right after Alumni Gym, and the courts are on the left.
TO ALUMNI GYMNASIUM (Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving):
Take first left once on campus, pass Messa Rink then Bailey Field on your left, and Alumni Gymnasium is on your right, directly across from Alexander Field (softball diamond).
TO MEMORIAL FIELDHOUSE (Women's Volleyball)
Take first left once on campus, park in the lot at your first right (across from the Fieldhouse).
TO VINIAR ATHLETIC CENTER (Men's and Women's Basketball):
Take first left once on campus, parking is on your immediate right across from Messa Rink. Walk up tthe path between Field House (on left) and Messa Rink (on right), and the Viniar Athletic Center is straight ahead.
TO COLLEGE PARK HALL (Men's Soccer):
NOTE: This facility is located on the West side of campus (not on map above).
From the Union College campus:
Follow directions above on to Seward Place. Take a left onto Nott St. At next light, turn left into College Park Hall (next to the Colonial Car Wash).
TO CENTRAL PARK (Baseball):
NOTE: This facility is not located on campus (not on map above).
All games played at "C" Diamond at Central Park.
From campus main entrance, take a left on Union St. Take right on McClellan St. Go past Ellis Hospital McClellan Campus to light. Take left on Bradley St. Follow Bradley and go straight at stop sign. Field is on right, approximately 1/4 mile.
TO BOATHOUSE
(Men's and Women's Crew):

From the South and East: Exit the New York State Thruway at exit 25 (Schenectady). Proceed on 890 West approximately 4 miles to exit 4B, Erie Blvd. Proceed on Erie Blvd. 8/10 of a mile to the intersection of Union Street. Take a left on Union Street and a quick right onto North College. Follow North College Street to the end. Take a right and then an immediate left into the boathouse parking lot. Proceed to left side of parking lot and boathouse entrance.
From the West: Exit New York State Thruway at exit 26. Get on 890 East for approximately 3.5 miles to exit 4b Erie Blvd. Proceed on Erie Blvd. 8/10 of a mile to the intersection of Union Street. Take a left onto Union Street and a quick right on North College. Follow North College Street to the end. Take a right and then an immediate left into the boathouse parking lot. Proceed to left side of parking lot and boathouse entrance.
From the North: Exit the Northway, Route 87, at exit 9 Clifton Park. Proceed west on Route 146 to Mohawk River, Rexford (approximately 6-7). Please note: Route 146 west makes a left turn at an intersection with traffic light prior to crossing river. Follow signs for Rt. 146 West, Rexford. After crossing the river take the first right onto Aquaduct Road. Follow Aquaduct Road approximately 3 miles to end. Take a right on Nott Street and proceed to intersection at Erie Blvd, approximately 3/10 of a mile. Take a left on Erie Blvd. and proceed to intersection of Union Street, approximately 4/10 of a mile (just past overhead train crossing). Take a right onto Union Street and a quick right on North College. Follow North College Street to the end. Take a right and then an immediate left into the boathouse parking lot. Proceed to left side of parking lot and boathouse entrance.
By Air
Taxi and rental car services are available from Albany Airport, about a 15-minute drive from campus. By rental car, turn right at the airport exit onto Albany-Shaker Road and drive north to Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7 west. Follow Route 7 for 4 miles and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.8 miles (past campus on your right) and take a right at a light onto Seward Place. Follow Seward Place to stop light and make a right on Nott Street. At the first light make a right into campus. Take first left once on campus and the rink will be the second building on your left.
By Train
The Amtrak station is on State Street in Schenectady, a 10-minute walk or short taxi ride from the campus.
By Bus
The bus station is on State Street in Schenectady, a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride from campus.
