How to Reach Union (Google Maps)
By Car
From the south and east: From New York State Thruway exit 24, take the Northway (I-87) north to exit 6 (marked 'Route 7 west'). Follow Route 7 west for 6.5 miles and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.8 miles (past campus on your right) and take a right at a light onto Seward Place. Follow Seward Place to stop light and make a right on Nott Street. At the first light make a right into campus.
From the north: From the Northway (I-87) take exit 6 (marked 'Route 7 west'). Follow Route 7 west for 6.5 miles and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.8 miles (past campus on your right) and take a right at a light onto Seward Place. Follow Seward Place to stop light and make a right on Nott Street. At the first light make a right into campus.
From the west: From Thruway exit 26, take I-890 east to exit 4 (Erie Boulevard). Follow Erie Boulevard north to Union Street (second light after the Amtrak station), turn right onto Union Street, and follow for .9 miles and make a left at a light onto Seward Place. Follow Seward Place to stop light and make a right on Nott Street. At the first light make a right into campus.
By Air
Taxi and rental car services are available from Albany International Airport, about a 15-minute drive from campus. By rental car, turn right at the airport exit onto Albany-Shaker Road and drive north to Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7 west. Follow Route 7 for 4 miles and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.8 miles (past campus on your right) and take a right at a light onto Seward Place. Follow Seward Place to stop light and make a right on Nott Street. At the first light make a right into campus. Take first left once on campus and the rink will be the second building on your left.
By Train
The Amtrak station is on State Street in Schenectady, a 10-minute walk or short taxi ride from the campus.
By Bus
The bus station is on State Street in Schenectady, a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride from campus.
TO M&T BANK CENTER (Hockey) (Google Maps)
From the South and East: Take the New York State Thruway to exit 25 (Schenectady). Proceed on 890 West approximately 4 miles to exit 4B, Erie Blvd. Proceed on Erie Blvd. At the traffic circle, take the second exit to continue on Erie Blvd. At the next light, turn left onto Mohawk Harbor Way. Turn left onto Harborside Drive and the arena is on the right.
From the West: Exit New York State Thruway at exit 26. Get on 890 East for approximately 3.5 miles to exit 4B Erie Blvd. Proceed on Erie Blvd. At the traffic circle, take the second exit to continue on Erie Blvd. At the next light, turn left onto Mohawk Harbor Way. Turn left onto Harborside Drive and the arena is on the right.
From the North: Exit the Northway, Route 87, at exit 9 Clifton Park. Proceed west on Route 146 to Mohawk River, Rexford (approximately 7 miles). Please note: Route 146 West makes a left turn at an intersection with traffic light after approximately 6 miles. Follow signs for Rt. 146 West, Rexford. After crossing the river take the first right at the traffic circle onto Aquaduct Road. Follow Aquaduct Road until it turns into Maxon Road Extension (keeping straight at the light). Take a left onto Erie Blvd. At the first light, turn right onto Mohawk Harbor Way. Turn left onto Harborside Drive and the arena is on the right.
From campus: Head west on Nott Street. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Erie Blvd. At the first light, turn left onto Mohawk Harbor Way. Turn left onto Harborside Drive and the arena is on the right.
TO CENTRAL PARK (Baseball): (Google Maps)
From the South and East: Take the New York State Thruway north to Exit 25 (I-890 West). Take Exit 7 to merge onto Crosstown Connector. After 1.1 miles, turn left onto Golf Road. Turn right onto Fehr Ave and the "A" Diamond is on the left.
From the West: Take New York State Thruway east to Exit 26 (I-890 East). Take Exit 6 toward California Avenue. Keep left at the fork to continue on California Ave, following signs for Michigan Ave. Turn left onto Michigan Ave and continue onto S Brandywine Ave. After 0.8 miles, turn right onto Bradley St, then left onto Monument Hill Rd. Bear right onto Iroquois Way, going around the lake, and the "A" Diamond is across Ashmore Ave from the parking lot.
From the North: Exit the Northway, Route 87, at exit 11 toward Round Lake/Burnt Hills. Turn right onto Round Lake Road. After 2.8 miles, continue onto Schauber Road for 1.4 miles before turning left onto Ashdown Road. After 2.4 miles, turn left onto Blue Barns Road, then continue onto NY-146 West/Balltown Road for 4.9 miles.Turn right onto Crosstown Connection. After 0.6 miles, turn right onto Golf Road. Turn right onto Fehr Ave and the "A" Diamond is on the left.
From campus: Exit the south of campus onto Union Ave and merge onto Union Street. Take Union Street east and turn right onto Wright Ave. Continue straight onto Iroquois Way and bear left to continue around the lake, and the "A" Diamond is across Ashmore Ave from the parking lot.
TO BOATHOUSE (Men's and Women's Crew): (Google Maps)
From the South and East: Exit the New York State Thruway at exit 25 (Schenectady). Take a left on Union Street and a quick right onto North College. Follow North College Street to the end. Take a right and then an immediate left into the boathouse parking lot. Proceed to left side of parking lot and boathouse entrance.

From the south and east: From New York State Thruway, take Exit 25 (I-890 West), then take Exit 7 (NY-7 East). After 2.3 miles, turn left onto NY-7 West, then immediately merge right onto Union St. Turn right onto North Country Club Drive and the clubhouse is on the left.
From the north: From the Northway (I-87) take exit 6W (NY-7 West). Follow Route 7 west for 6.8 miles and bear right onto Union Street. Turn right onto North Country Club Drive and the clubhouse is on the left.
From the west: From New York State Thruway, take Exit 26 (I-890 East) east to Exit 7 (NY-7 East). After 2.3 miles, turn left onto NY-7 West, then immediately merge right onto Union St. Turn right onto North Country Club Drive and the clubhouse is on the left.
From campus: Head southwest on Alexander Lane, then turn left onto Union Ave. Make a right onto Gillespie St., then turn left onto Union St. Stay on Union St. for 2.2 miles, then turn left onto North Country Club Drive.
