Ali Boe will return to the ice this summer as coaches for the USA Hockey Player Development Camp. Asano will head to in St. Cloud, MN to coach the girl's U-16 team camp, which consists of the best hockey players in the nation under the age of 16. Boe is taking a similar job, coaching the girl's U-14 team camp in Rochester, NY.

TROY, NY -- Two members of the Union College Athletics Hall of Fame joined another hall of fame on Sunday. Sig Makofski and Jim Tedisco were inducted as charter members into the Capital District Basketball Hall of Fame. The inaugural class was announced on June 28 at the Terrace Restaurant.
Makofski was one of seven coaches selected, while Tedisco joined 66 other players who excelled in the region. A total of 76 individuals were inducted, including two referees. The Times Union Center in Albany will feature a permanent display with descriptions of each hall of famer in the near future.

Matt Cook adn the Idaho Steelheads have agreed on a contract for the 2009-10 season. Cook, a native of Belle Mead, NJ, served as a co-captain for the past two seasons and was a finalist for the 2008-09 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. The Steelheads also announced the signing of defenseman Matt Sorteberg from Quinnipiac.
