SCHENECTADY, NY-- The Union College men's lacrosse midfielder
Thomas Stanton was named the Liberty League's Men's Lacrosse Defensive Performer of the Week for his performance through May 2.
Stanton led the Dutchmen to a 17-13 victory over Vassar to clinch a berth in the Liberty League tournament. Stanton recorded six groundballs and two caused turnovers in addition to scoring two goals. On the season he has 60 groundballs, 14 goals, nine caused turnovers and five assists.
The Dutchmen head to Rochester, N.Y., to take on RIT in the Liberty League Tournament semifinal on Friday, May 6 at 4 p.m.
