Men's hockey to host game-worn jersey raffle for NYE tilt vs. North Dakota

SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—The No. 9/10 Union College men's hockey team will be hosting a jersey raffle during its New Year's Eve contest against defending national champion No. 8/8 North Dakota.

The Dutchmen (14-3-2) will raffle off their game-worn jerseys, which were designed to pay tribute to the Nott Memorial building at the center of Union's campus. The limited edition jerseys will be handed out by the players directly after the game. Following the completion of the jersey raffle, fans are also invited to join the team on the ice for an open skate.

Below are the details for the jersey raffle:
  • Tickets will be $5 for a single ticket, or $20 for 5 tickets.
  • Tickets will be sold at the door (beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday).
  • Fans buying raffle tickets will have the opportunity to place their tickets in the bucket of the number jersey they want to win. 
  • Winning raffle tickets will be drawn, announced and posted around the rink during the 3rd period of the game
  • Winners will be invited to the ice directly following the game to receive jerseys from the players.
