SCHENECTADY, NY- Sophomores Noemie Bechu of women's indoor track and field and Peter Richardson of men's lacrosse were named to the Liberty League Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Bechu led all Union performers this past weekend at the NYSCTC Championships as she claimed a first place finish in the 400m dash. Bechu ran a 57.84, setting a new school record as well as qualified for this week's ECAC Championships with her time. This marks the fourth time Bechu has been named to the league honor roll this season.

In just his third career start, Richardson compiled four goals (including the game-winner) as part of a five-point day in leading Union to a 14-13 win over fifth-ranked SUNY Cortland in the season opener. Richardson also scooped three ground balls and caused a turnover. Men's Lacrosse will be back in action this Wednesday as they take on Oneonta at 4pm from Frank Bailey Field.
