SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union College (11-8-2/4-5-1 ECACH, 7th-tied) returns home for the first time in two months, hosting Cornell University (6-7-2/4-4-0 ECACH-9th) on Friday (Jan. 16) and No. 14/15 Colgate University (13-6-1/5-2-1 ECACH-3rd) on Saturday (Jan. 17) at Messa Rink in Schenectady. Game time is 7:08 p.m. on Friday and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are still available on-line at www.UnionAthleticsTickets.com.  Friday's contest will be carried live by Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.

The Dutchmen will make their first Messa appearance in 61 days on Friday.  Since last playing at home on Nov. 15, Union has compiled a 5-3-1 record over a nine-game span of road and neutral site games. Union actually owns a better record on the road (6-2-1) then at home (4-4-1) this season.

Union won all three games against Cornell last year, including a 5-2 win in the ECAC Hockey Semifinals at Lake Placid.  Cornell owns a 31-18-7 overall series lead and a 27-17-6 mark at the Division I level.

Colgate proved to be a thorn in Union's side last year, as the teams split 1-1-1.  The Raiders were the only ECACH team the Dutchmen had not defeated prior to Union's 5-2 win in the ECAC Hockey Championship Game.  Colgate holds a 39-24-3 advantage all-time, and a 31-18-3 record during the series' Division I era.
