SCHENECTADY, NY - The Union College Dutchwomen enter the 2015 calendar year riding a three-game unbeaten streak and are 3-1-1 in their last five contests. Union returns to ECAC competition as they host the fifth ranked Quinnipiac Bobacts and the Princeton Tigers. The Garnet and White will look to even the season series in both games as the Dutchwomen fell to both programs in their prior meetings earlier this season.

Last Time Out
Union scored twice in the final nine minutes of regulation on goals by Jessica Kaminsky and Nicole Russell to defeat the Black Bears in the series opener. Shenae Lundberg stopped 28 shots to record her third shutout of the season and her program-leading sixth shutout of her career. The following night, Union and Maine traded second-period goals as they skated to a 1-1 tie.

Triumphant Return
Kaminsky returned to the lineup on December 2nd at Northeastern after missing five games with an injury and has made an immediate impact for the Dutchwomen during her return. She blocked a season-high four shots in the win over NU and is currently in the midst of a four-game streak where she has registered at least one point. Kaminsky has posted one goal (a game-winner against Maine) and four assists during the streak. The junior now leads Union with 10 points on the season.

Scouting the Bobcats
Quinnipiac comes into the game having lost their first contest of the season, a 2-1 defeat to Harvard. The Bobcats were previously unbeaten in their first 16 games of the year. They are led on offense by freshman Taylor Cianfarano who leads the sqaud with eight goals in her rookie campaign. Nicole Connery, Erica Uden Johansson and Emma Woods have all chipped in with seven tallies apiece for the Bobcats. In goal, senior Chelsea Laden has put forth a terrific season so far going 13-1-2 in net. She leads the nation with a 0,87 GAA and eight shutouts.

Scouting the Tigers
Princeton has dropped six of their last seven games but five of those six defeats came to teams ranked in the top 10. The Tigers are led on offense by Molly Contini who has potted a team-leading six goals. She has added seven assists for 13 points on the season. Kelsey Koelzer leads PU with 11 helpers to go along with five goals for a team leading 16 points. Between the pipes is Kimberly Newell. She has gone 6-7-1 in 14 games played with a 2.50 GAA and .919 save percentage.

Media Coverage
The contest will feature live video via UnionAthletics.tv and live stats. Fans of the Dutchwomen unable to make it to Messa Rink for either game can follow along with the action by clicking on the links provided on the side of page.

Looking Ahead
Union will wrap up their season-long eight-game homestand as they welcome Harvard and Dartmouth to Messa Rink next weekend (Jan. 9th and 10th). The January 10th game against Dartmouth is the 8th Annual Pink at the Rink Game. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 4:00pm. The Dutchwomen ask all fans to please wear pink to show their support. Admission will be free to all Union students and all children 12 and under. Fans can also get in for free by making a donation to Kristen's Kause. The women's ice hockey team is dedicating the 2015 Pink at the Rink Game to Union Hockey fan Kristen Shinebarger and Union student-athletes Justin Lloyd and Kaitlyn Suarez in their fights against cancer.
