SCHENECTADY, NY - No. 5 Union men's lacrosse (7-2, 2-0 Liberty League) will appear on Time Warner Cable Sports next Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. when the Dutchmen travel to No. 9 RIT (8-2, 1-1 Liberty League) for a critical Liberty League contest at the RIT Field. In the Albany/Schenectady market, Time Warner Cable Sports is channel 3 or 1803 in high definition.
Wednesday's contest will mark the first meeting between Union and RIT since March 8, 2008, when the Dutchmen earned an 8-3 win over the Tigers at Frank Bailey Field.
RIT joined the Liberty League this season after earning an Empire 8 Championship and making a run to the NCAA Semifinals in 2011. Union has not played at RIT since March 10, 2007. RIT owns a 5-2 advantage in the all time series against Union.
