SCHENECTADY, NY -- The Union College women's crew team received weekly recognition from the Liberty League this week. 

The Union third Varsity Eight was named the Liberty League Women's Crew Boat of the Week.  this past weekend. Members of the Liberty League Boat of the Week are Katiie O'Brien, Jackie Aruch, Leah Robison, Lauren Brown, Mikaela Coburn, Lauren Wainman, Elizabeth Pion, Ariel Siniapkin and Sarah Budick. 

In a dual against Hamilton to open the spring schedule, Union's women's combination of the third varsity and novice eight finished first with a time of 8:11.05 while Hamilton finished second in 8:14.24.

Union will host local rival RPI Saturday at 9 a.m.
