MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Union College men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday.
Danton Brewington highlighted the men's side, finishing fourth in the shot put.
Tom Albano placed fourth in pole vault, reaching 3.95m. In the long jump, Max Balter (5.83m) and Kyle Bucklin (5.81m) placed seventh and eighth, respectively.
On the women’s side, Judy Horan placed 10th in the 55 meter dash, recording a time of 8:00.00. Rebecca Skudder turned in a time of 5:34.92 to finish eighth in the one mile run.
Another notable highlight was in the 3,000 meter run. Skudder (11:20.57) and Ramsey Steiner (11:24.65) placed fifth and sixth.
Union returns to action on Jan. 30. It will compete at the Class of 32 Invitational on the campus of Colgate. The meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
