Dutchwomen netters serve up 7-2 win over Hartwick

SCHENECTADY, NY -- Hallie Mabrey and Kristen Ryan each won in singles as the Union women's tennis team scored a 7-2 victory over Hartwick College at the Union tennis courts Tuesday. The Dutchwomen improved to 2-1 on the season.
Mabrey won in straight sets in the #1 singles slot, 6-1 and 6-0, and joined Elise Malkin for an 8-6 win in the #2 doubles slot. Ryan won 6-2, 6-2 in the #6 singles position and teamed up with Samantha Griffith for an 8-1 triumph in #3 doubles.
Other winners for Union include Malkin, Brittany Gilbert and Dee Dee Gaudian in singles.
The Dutchwomen are back in action on September 27 at Wheaton.
