MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- After an impressive victory over #8 Ithaca, the Union College football team has entered the national rankings. The Dutchmen are #22 in this week's D3football.com Top 25. 

Four new teams enter the poll this week, with Union and Linfield making their season debuts with wins against Top 10 teams. This is Union's first appearance in the poll since a #10 ranking in the final poll of the 2006 season. Ithaca dropped to #25.

Mount Union, UW-Whitewater and Mary Hardin-Baylor remained 1-2-3 in the D3football.com Top 25 and were in that order in nearly unanimous fashion. UMHB was a unanimous No. 3. Mount Union and UW-Whitewater are 1-2 on 23 ballots, the reverse on the other two.

The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.

Union will play Saturday, September 19 at Muhlenberg College at 1 p.m.
