Christopher Jacobson was named honorable mention.
Keinath, a 2008 second team selection, has led Union to the lowest goals-against average in the league (7.82). Personally, Keinath has posted a 7.67 goals-against average, which ranks second in the conference, while his .581 save percentage is third overall. He has posted six wins and has turned away 118 shots.
Hovsepian has collected 27 groundballs and scored five goals on eight shots. He has played in every game, helping Union average 9.54 goals per game.
Witheford has developed into one of the top defensive players in the league, guiding Union to a Liberty League low 7.82 goals-against average. Witheford has played in every game, grabbing 37 groundballs and causing 11 turnovers, which ranks second on the team.
Jacobson has had a target on his back all season long, going against Union’s opponents’ top defender every game. He still managed to score 15 goals, dish out six assists for 21 points. In conference only games, he is second on the team with 11 points with six goals and five assists. For the year, Jacobson has collected 35 groundballs, which ranks fourth on the team.
Union travels to St. Lawrence for the conference tournament this weekend. The Dutchmen face the Saints on Friday at 4 p.m.
