Union Track & Field In Midst Of NYSCTC

ROCHESTER, NY – The Union College men and women’s indoor track and field teams were in action on Friday at the 2009 NYSCTC Indoor Track and Field Championship hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology.
The Union men’s 4x200 Meter Relay finished third with an ECAC qualifying time of 1:31.92.
Freshman
Kyle Bucklin also posted a ECAC qualifiying mark of 6.77m in the long jump for a fifth place finish. Sophomore
Phil Lambert posted an eighth-place time of 6.82 in the 55 Meter Dash.
Senior
Julie LaSpina highlighted the day for the women’s side with a fifth-place finish in the 55 Meter Dash with a time of 7.64.
Union resumes competition for day two on Saturday, Feb. 28.
