ALBANY, N.Y. – The Liberty League named sophomore
Kaleigh Ahern Swimmer of the Week and senior
Meredith Nearpass Co-Diver of the Week for the women’s swimming & diving team while sophomore
Ian Drillinger was named Diver of the Week on the men’s side on Tuesday.

Andrea Marois, Ahern won the 200 yard medley relay in the first event of the meet against Rochester last Saturday.
In the 100 yard breaststroke, Ahern recorded a time of 1:09.56 to win the event. Finishing behind Ahern was Rochester’s Jennifer Chung, who turned in 1:10.61. Ahern also won the 200 yard breaststroke, recording a time of 2:30.02. Ahern also won the 200 yard IM.
In the one meter dive, Nearpass scored a 225.96, winning the event. Rochester’s Cheryl Bleachman scored 196.42 to finish behind Nearpass. In the three-meter dive, Nearpass scored a 239.25 to win the event. Bleachman scored 220.50, finishing behind Nearpass.
Nearpass shares the honor this week with RPI’s Kelsey Manley.
Drillinger scored a 240.75 to win the three meter dive. Finishing behind him was Rochester’s Kenneth Johnson, who scored 179.25.
