CAPE COD, MA -- Union College is one of 12 teams that have been selected to participate in the six ECAC Division III Football Bowl Championship games to be played on Saturday, November 21. The Dutchmen, 7-3, will host Hartwick College, 5-4, in the ECAC Division III North Atlantic Bowl at Frank Bailey Field. Game time is 1 p.m.
Tickets are priced at $10 for chairback seating, $8 for reserved seating, $5 for general admission (lawn tickets) and $3 for Children (12 and under). Per ECAC guidelines, there are no complimentary tickets. Union students will be free with their ID.
Tickets will be on sale beginning Tues., Nov. 17 at 12 p.m. at the Union Athletics Ticket Office in Alumni Gymnasium. Box Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, the Box Office at Frank Bailey Field will open at 12 p.m.
This is Union's sixth ECAC bowl game appearance, and first since 2007. The Dutchmen have won five of the six games played in their ECAC playoff history. Union deffeated Hartwick, 38-25 in the 2001 ECAC Northwest Bowl.
In the other pairings, in the ECAC Northeast Bowl Championship, Plymouth State (8-2) will travel to take on Springfield (7-2). In the ECAC Northwest Bowl Championship, St. John Fisher (6-3) was selected to host Cortland State (7-3). In the south region, host Kean (8-2) will face Ursinus (6-4) in the ECAC Southeast Bowl Championship game. Wilkes (6-4) will travel to Franklin and Marshall (8-2) for the ECAC South Atlantic Bowl Championship, while Salisbury University (5-5) will travel to host Lebanon Valley (8-2) in the ECAC Southwest Bowl Championship game.
