CHANDLER, AZ -- Union College senior Anne Hanson has been selected to the 2008 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-North Atlantic Region All Star First Team. Earlier this month, Hanson had been selected to the Liberty League All Star First Team.

Hanson has helped Union to 47 wins during her four year career, the most of any senior class in Union history. She has five goals and six assists for 46 points with 46 shots. She had seven shots on net in a win over Castleton and four on net in a win over Utica. Hanson had a goal and assisted on the other in a 2-1 win over Rochester. She scored in the first win over William Smith since the 1980 season. Hanson also earned a Liberty League Performer of the Week honor.

Union finished the 2008 season with a 14-3 record, posting the most wins in the program since the 1988 season. This was Head Coach Lacey French's sixth season with the Dutchwomen.
