Ninth-ranked William Smith (12-3-2) used two first-half goals to earn a 2-0 victory against the Union College women’s soccer team in the Liberty League semi-final game Wednesday afternoon. The Dutchwomen, who are now 11-7-0, wait to see if they will receive one of 21 at-large bids to participate in the 63-team NCAA Tournament. A news release announcing the teams selected to the championship will be posted on NCAA.com Sunday, Nov. 8.with a bracket to follow Monday, Nov. 9, at approximately 10 a.m.

Women’s soccer senior forward #Bianca Germain# has been named the Liberty League Co-Offensive Performer of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Germain and the fourth-seeded Dutchwomen are on the verge of its conference semi-final game at top-seeded William Smith on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Despite a 1-0 loss at #12 William Smith (10-3-2) on Sunday, the Union College women’s soccer team (10-6) is heading back to the Liberty League postseason tournament, finishing fourth in the conference with a 4-3 mark. William Smith (5-0-2) secures the top spot and will host Union in the first round game.
