Senior attack Rob Lutin scored four goals and Flip Bongaerts made 17 saves to lead Skidmore College to a 10-6 victory in a Liberty League Men’s Lacrosse Semifinal Game at Union’s Frank Bailey Field Friday afternoon. The win lifts the Thoroughbreds, 9-5, into Sunday’s league championship game at RPI, which won at home, 9-5 over St. Lawrence. Union now stands 11-4 overall.

The second-seeded Union College men’s lacrosse team will host third-seeded Skidmore on Friday, May 7 in the Liberty League semifinal game. Start time is at 4 p.m. at Frank Bailey Field. The Dutchmen enter the game with a 6-1 conference record and an 11-3 overall mark, while the Thoroughbreds are 4-2 in the league and 8-5 on the year.
