SCHENECTADY, NY -- The Union College men's lacrosse team will begin the 2010 season on Tuesday, Mar. 2 with a 4:30 p.m. home game against SUNY Geneseo at Frank Bailey Field. The contest was originally scheduled to be hosted by Geneseo in Syracuse, NY, but facility issues caused the game to be move with the decision coming early Monday.

The action commences just over a week before the Dutchmen's initial home opener was to take place against Ithaca on Wednesday, Mar. 10 at 4 p.m.
Tuesday's outing will be the first of seven home games for Union this season. After the Ithaca contest, SUNY Cobleskill arrives on Mar. 30 at 4 p.m. The Dutchmen hosts four straight home games from Apr. 14-28. Williams begins the stretch with a matchup on Apr. 14 7 p.m. and Skidmore makes the short trip to Union on Apr. 17 for a 7 p.m. outing. The Dutchmen welcome Clarkson on Apr. 24 at noon and Vassar on Apr. 28 at 7 p.m.
