Enrollment
Each weekly session will have a maximum of 100 participants in order to maintain an effective player-coach ratio. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Application deadlilne one week prior to camp.
Location
Sessions will be held in the Viniar Athletic Center and Memorial Fieldhouse on the Union College campus. The facilities include 12 teaching stations and six full courts for games. Everyone should meet at the fieldhouse.

DIVING ACADEMY 2009

Description
Union College Diving Academy offers two week-long training programs that will improve a diver's fundamental and advanced techniques. Divers of novice ability and higher are eligible for the academy. Age requirements are 8-18. The coaching staff will provide divers with basic board and hurdle work, on both 1-meter and 3-meter boards. Refinement of voluntary and optional dives will also be provided, both on the boards, and through dry land training, and trampoline work. A video system will also be set up to provide divers with video analysis. Goal setting, visualization, and relaxation will also be taught to the divers.
Location
The academy will be held at Union College in the Alumni Gym pool.
Time
Session I: August 3 - 7 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Session II: August 10 - 14 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The academy will be held at Union College on Frank Bailey Field, a lighted field turf facility. The field is home to the Union College field hockey team as well as to the men's and women's lacrosse teams.

SCHOLASTIC VARSITY CONTACT FOOTBALL ACADEMY 2009
Location
The academy will be held at Union College on Frank Bailey Field, a lighted field turf. A lecture center will also be available for training films and lectures.
Theme
The theme of this camp includes skills by position and teamwork sessions, skill and teamwork sessions instructed by Union football coaches and selected local high school coaches. This is a full contact camp.
Eligibility
This is a full contact academy open to both perimeter and interior players, grades entering 9-12. All contact will be closely monitored.

Location
The academy will be held at Union College on Frank Bailey Field, a lighted field turf.
Eligibility
Camp is geared specially for younger players for grades entering 3-4-5. Instruction by the Union College coaching staff focusing on learning the basics of football - offensive and defensive positions, blocking and tackling fundamentals.

The academy will be held at Union College in Alumni Gym, an 8-lane, 25-yard pool
Eligibility
Union College Swim Academy offers an avenue for competitive swimmers to refine stroke technique and learn new training methods. Participation is for novice to advanced swimming levels, age requirements are 8-18. We will provide complete stroke analysis with above and below water video, race preparation and strategy, education and discussion on proper diet, positive mental attitude and flexibility and dryland training instructions.
Our goal is to help each "Dutch" camper be a better swimmer.
This is not a learn to swim academy.
Time
Day Academy will run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Overnight attendees must be 9 years of age or older.
Equipment
Every swimmer must provide their own suits, goggles, caps, towels, fins if you have some, and mini DVDs to record strokes and turns.
Meals
Overnight Academy--The College Center will provide three meals per day in buffet style for seconds.
Day Academy--The College Center will provide lunch only.
Housing
Attendees will be housed in the College dormitories. Attendees must supply their own bed linen, blanket, pillow and towels. Overnight campers will have to be out of the rooms by 11:00 a.m. The camp will conclude in the pool at 3:30.

$485.00 (includes overnight accommodations)
$350.00 (not including overnight accommodations/day academy only. Lunch will be provided.)
Discount of $25.00 for a team of five or more.

Please note: No attendee will be permitted to begin until all forms are properly completed and on file.
Refund Policy
If an attendee withdraws prior to the starting date (registration) of Academy, all payments except the application fee will be refunded. Once the academy begins, there will be no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. Refunds based on medical reasons will be provided as conditions warrant.

TENNIS 2009 SUMMER ACADEMY

Facilities:
5 outdoor hard courts. Players should be picked up and dropped off at the Union College tennis courts off of Union Ave., next to the football field and Alumni Gym.
Program:
Players will be grouped according to ability. Instruction will be provided on skills and strategies appropriate for each student's level of play.
Rain dates: Friday of each week.
Equipment:
Tennis sneakers, racquets, sunscreen, water bottle, and layered clothing. Running shoes optional.
