At Shaker High School, Colin received honors of All-State, All Section 2, and All Division 1. He was also named on the 2005 New York State Team, 2005 Golden Fifty Team, and 2005 Times Union All Star 1st Team. He also participated in the 2005 Governor's Bowl. His favorite shows to watch are Lost and Sportscenter.
Colin was named to the D3Football Pre-Season All-American team and was a league first team all-star at guard in 2008. He will start at right guard for the third straight season.
