Sebastiaan Jansen has been accepted to participate in the InfoSport: Pro Soccer Combine
, being held in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
The three-day event (January 8-10, 2013) brings in approximately 250 aspiring professional soccer players from around the world. Various coaches from leagues such as Major League Soccer (MLS), North American Soccer League (NASL) and Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) are scheduled to attend the event.
Jansen tallied 20 goals and four assists this past season, aiding the Dutchmen to their first playoff birth since 2010. The South African native broke the single-season goals mark of 18 previously held by Graham Lombardo in 2001. Additionally, the striker broke the program's career points record with 107 points, which was held by Craig Jeffries '75. Jansen finished the season being named Liberty League Player of the Year for leading the league in goals scored and points.
