Aaron, Kinnane named ECAC All-Stars

Brendan Kinnane was selected to the ECAC Upstate Second Team
CAPE COD, MA – A pair of Union College men's lacrosse student-athletes were named 2010 ECAC Division III Upstate All-Stars. Sophomore goaltender Sean Aaron was named to the first team, while junior attack Brendan Kinnane was named to the second team, the ECAC announced late Wednesday.
 
Aaron, a the Liberty League Goaltender of the Year and the only three-time Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week, not only led the Liberty League in save percentage, but he is the national leader with a .702 mark. An All-America candidate, Aaron also finished the season with a 5.34 goals-against average, which ranks third in the country. Aaron, had made 12 or more saves in nine games, including a career-high 23 in an 8-4 at Oneonta State.
 
Kinnane, a Liberty League First Team selection and a three-time Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week, ranked third in the conference with 2.86 points-per-game and 1.43 assists-per-game in the regular season. He led the Union offense with 40 points, including a team-high 20 assists. He has registered 20 goals, including three game winners and five man-up goals. He has collected 40 groundballs and caused five turnovers.
