ROCHESTER, NY – Union College men's lacrosse sophomore goaltender
Sean Aaron has been named to the Division III New York State All-Star First Team, the organization announced Friday. Aaron, who tied a school record for wins in a season with 11, is the only underclassman to be named to the first team.
Aaron, a the Liberty League Goaltender of the Year and the only three-time Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week, not only leads the Liberty League in save percentage, but he is the national leader with a .702 mark. An All-America candidate, Aaron also finished the season with a 5.34 goals-against average, which ranks third in the country. Aaron, had made 12 or more saves in nine games, including a career-high 23 in an 8-4 at Oneonta State.
