Results (Final)
TROY, NY – On the second and final day at the NYSCTC Championships on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Union College track and field teams both finished seventh.
#Danton Brewington# highlighted the Dutchmen by finishing second in the shot put with a distance of 14.10 meters. Other notable Dutchmen finish include #Davis Barber# finishing third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 49.32, which qualifies for ECAC Championships. Barber also placed fifth in the 200 meter run with a 22.28 which also qualified him for ECAC Championships.
#Max Jack# finished eighth in the 800 meter run in 1:58.91, a season best. #Gabe Sturges# finished sixth in the 5,000 meter with a season best 15:40.02.
The 4x100 team (#Ryan Owen#, Barber, #Max Balter#, #William Scarborough#) finished seventh with a time of 44.14. The same four student-athletes finished seventh in 4x400 team with a season best 3:25.93.
On the Dutchwomen's side, #
Rebecca Skudder# finished fourth in the 1,500 meter run in 4:38.33, setting a new school record. The previous record was Casey Kohut '07 which was set in 2007 with a time of 4:53.26. #
Judy Horan# finished fifth in the 100 meter dash in 13.31.

Bethany Crowe# finished seventh in the 100 meter hurdles in 16.39. #
Ramsey Steiner# placed 11th in the 1,500 meter run to set a personal best time of 4:59.26.
In team action, the women's 4x100 (#
Jessica Singer#, Horan, #
Clarissa Odence# and Crowe) finished seventh in 53.55. The 4x400 team (Crowe, #
Michelle Richter#, Odence and Horan) finished seventh with a season's best, 4:17.42.
Next on Union's schedule is the ECAC Championships at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. The meet is on May 13 at 11 a.m.
