Results (After Day 1)
TROY, NY - The Union College track & field teams completed the first day of the NYSCTC Championships on Friday on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Davis Barber# earned multiple top five finishes. He finished fourth in the 400 meter dash preliminary with a time of 49.20 -an ECAC qualification time- and fifth in the 200 meter dash preliminary in 22.98. Barber qualified to compete in the finals for both events on Saturday.

Ryan Owen# qualified for the final round in the 200 meter run with a time of 23.05.
#Bethany Crowe# highlighted the Dutchwomen with a fifth place finish in the 100 meter hurdle preliminaries, marking a time of 16.39. It's a season best for Crowe and a qualification for the final round on Saturday.
#Judy Horan# ran a 13.34 in the 100 meter dash preliminary to finish seventh and she qualified to compete in the final round. She re-broke her pole vault record, reaching 2.95m.
#Michelle Richter#, Horan, #Ramsey Steiner# and #Rebecca Skudder# ran a season best time of 9:57.56 in the 4x800 run to break the school record. The previous record was set in 2006 (10:02.54) by Chelsea Hargis '09, Karen Bertasso '06, Kerry Bannon '08 and Casey Kohut '07.
#Clarissa Odence# ran a personal best in the 200 meter run with a time of 27.83.
#Caitlin Camilleri# placed sixth in the hammer with a season's best of 41.70.
The meet concludes on Saturday at 10 a.m.
