SCHENECTADY, NY - Three members of the Union College track and field team earned Liberty League Weekly Honors this week, the league announced Tuesday. #Gabe Sturges# earned Rookie of the Week, #Danton Brewington# was named Co-Performer of the Week with Rensselaer's Garrett Harms and #Bethany Crowe# shares Rookie of the Week Honors with Rensselaer's Kirsten Orrell.

At the Capital District Classic last Saturday, Sturges won the 5,000 meter run in 15:48.61, Brewington won the shot put, reaching 13.37m and Crowe won the 100 meter hurdles in 16.68. She also finished fourth in the 400 hurdles in 1:07.67.

Union is at the NYSCTC Championships this week on the campus of the University of Rochester.
