SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Union College crew teams competed in the Liberty League Championships on Saturday at Fish Creek hosted by Skidmore.

In the women's second varsity eight race final, the women's team finished four in 8:08.8. William Smith won the race in 7:26.0.

In the women's varsity eight H1 race, Union finished fourth in 7:34.7 while the Saints won the race in 7:06.9.

The women's novice four team finished second 8:53.5.

In the men's varsity four race, the Dutchmen finished third 8:04.1. Hobart won the race in 7:36.3. In the men's second varsity eight race, Union turned in a second place finish in 7:16.2 while Hobart won the race in 6:39.1.

Union concludes the 2009-10 season at Whitney Point, NY on May 1-2 for the New York State Championships. The races are scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
