SCHENECTADY, NY – The Union College crew teams competed against the University of Albany on Sunday on the banks of the Mohawk River. It was the final home race on the season for Union.

In the women's varsity eight race, Union Group B won the race in 8:06 while Group A finished second in 8:14. Albany finished third in 9:18.

In the women's varsity four race, the Dutchwomen won in 9:41. Schenectady County Community College finished second in 9:49 and Albany finished third in 9:55.

On the men's side, Albany finished first in the varsity eight race with a time of 6:53. Union Group A finished second in 6:58 and Group B finished third in 7:10.

The junior varsity team finished first in the novice eight race, turning in a time of 7:37 while Albany finished second in 8:27.

In the men's varsity four race, Union finished first in 7:51 and Albany finished in 8:08.

Union travels to Canton, NY on April 18 to race against St. Lawrence. The race is set to start at 9 a.m.
