Box Score vs. Trinity

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Union College softball team extended its win streak to six Thursday by defeating Ohio State Newark 9-0 in the morning and Trinity 8-5 in the afternoon. Union is now 6-2 overall. Ginni Sack earned both wins and improved her record to 4-1.

Lindsay Colvin and Sarah Logan each struck out three batters for the Dutchwomen. Erika Hillenbrand and Ashley Kovack both went 3-for-3 with two RBI's.

In the second game, Trinity was ahead 5-1 going into the fourth inning but the Dutchwomen rallied en route to the victory. Callee Heywood scored the go-ahead run on a ground out by Nina Cervini for the eventual game winning run, while Allie Sirrine went 2-for-3 with three RBI's.

The Dutchwomen conclude their Florida trip on Friday against Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Plymouth State.
