SCHENECTADY, NY -- Union junior forward Rusmir Dzanko has been named the Liberty League Men's Basketball Co-Forward of the Week. He shares the honor with Skidmore's Jon Douglas. This is Dzanko's second honor of the season, as he also won the award on December 14.

Dzanko tied his career high with 19 points in a win vs. Hamilton. He also scored 13 against Hobart and averaged 13.0 points in three games for the week, while shooting .720 from the field making 18 of 25 attempts. On the season, Dzanko is averaging 11.2 points, second on the squad, and has a 4.3 rebounding clip.

Union is home this weekend with games Friday night at 8 p.m. against St. Lawrence and Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. vs. Clarkson.
