WORCESTER, MA – Goals by junior
Katie McLean and senior
Katie Weinstein lifted the Union College women’s soccer team to a 2-0 win at Clark University on Wednesday night. Junior goalkeeper
Abby Stohler turned away all six shots for her first shutout of the season, improving the Dutchwomen’s record to 2-1.
Union College had its opportunities early in the first, unloading six shots during the opening half, but it wasn’t until McLean was setup by senior

Weinstein found pay dirt on a penalty kick tally at 67:58.
McLain’s was her team-high tying second goal of the season and she is now even with sophomore
Jessica Strang for the team lead in points with five. Germain’s assist was her first and Weinstein’s marker was also the first of the year.
Between the pipes, Stohler protected Union’s lead with four saves in the later half of the contest. The shutout marks the second of the season for the Dutchwomen.
Union hosts a four-game tournament at college park with Cortland, St. John Fisher and RPI coming to Schenectady, NY. The Dutchwomen make its home debut with a 3 p.m. contest against Cortland on Saturday and a 3 p.m. match against St. John Fisher on Sunday.
