McLaughlin Returns From Injury; Named Pitcher of the Week

SCHENECTADY, NY – Union College baseball senior pitcher
Brian McLaughlin returned from injury soon than expected and logged 6.2 innings on the mound last weekend. His performance earned him the reign as Liberty League Co-Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
McLaughlin, who shared the honor with RPI’s Dan Duval, was supposed to miss the entire season. However, last weekend he appeared three games and only allowed one hit and zero runs. Opponents batted 0.48 against the senior.
Union returns to the diamond on Wednesday, Apr. 29 for a 4 p.m. game at Hamilton.
