TROY, NY – The Union College men and women's outdoor track and field team were in action on Saturday at the Liberty League Championships. Senior #
Julie LaSpina# highlighted the day for the women's team with a first place win in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 13.77. For the men, senior
Jun-Ho Ham won the Shot Put with a distance of 13.99m and the Discus Throw with a mark of 41.92m. The women finished fourth, while the men came in third.
LaSpina also had a second-place showing in the 200 Meter Dash with a mark of 28.37. Joining her in the 100 Meter Dash was freshman #
Judy Horan#, who finished third with a time of 13.89.
In the pole vault, freshman #
Jessica Singer# posted a second-place mark of 2.73m.
For the men, sophomore #Davis Barber# finished second in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 23.72, while freshman #Max Balter# placed third in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.34m.
Both teams will compete at the Hamilton Invitational on Saturday, April 18 at 11 a.m.
