TROY, NY – The Union College men and women’s outdoor track and field team were in action on Saturday at the Liberty League Championships. Senior
Julie LaSpina highlighted the day for the women’s team with a first place win in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 13.77. For the men, senior
Jun-Ho Ham won the Shot Put with a distance of 13.99m and the Discus Throw with a mark of 41.92m. The women finished fourth, while the men came in third.
LaSpina also had a second-place showing in the 200 Meter Dash with a mark of 28.37. Joining her in the 100 Meter Dash was freshman
Judy Horan, who finished third with a time of 13.89.
In the pole vault, freshman
Jessica Singer posted a second-place mark of 2.73m.
For the men, sophomore
Davis Barber finished second in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 23.72, while freshman
Max Balter placed third in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.34m.
Both teams will compete at the Hamilton Invitational on Saturday, April 18 at 11 a.m.
