ITHACA, NY – The men and women’s track and field teams were in action on Saturday at the Deneault Invitational, hosted by Division I Cornell. Junior
Allison Cuozzo highlighted the team’s performance on the track with an eight-place finish with a 2:22.61 in the 800 Meter Run. In the field events, senior
Jun-Ho Ham led the way with an 11th-place throw in the shot put at 13.45m
Senior
Josie McDermott finished sixth in the long jump with a height of 1.55m, while for the men
Kyle Bucklin placed 20th with a leap of 6.11m.
In the triple jump, freshman
Kimberly Perry finished 21st with a mark of 9.25m.
Joining Hum in the shot put were sophomore
Danton Brewington with a 17th-place throw of 12.86m and junior
Pete Haviland-Edua with a 23rd-place toss of 12.54m.
The Dutchmen and Dutchwomen will compete in the NYSCTC Pentathlon hosted by Cornell on Sunday, Feb. 22.
