LaSpina Named Liberty League Track Performer of the Week

ALBANY, NY – Union College women’s indoor track and field standout
Julie LaSpina has been named Liberty League Female Track Performer of the Week, the conference announced Monday. The senior Rosyln Heights, NY native captured two first-place finishes at the 2009 Liberty League Championship.
LaSpina won the 55 Meter Dash with a New York State qualifying time of 7.71 and placed third in the 200 Meter Dash with a mark of 27.39. She teamed up with senior

Judy Horan and freshman
Courtney Steiner for a first-place finish in the 4x200 Meter Relay with a time of 1:52.30.
The Dutchwomen travel to the Denault Memorial Invitational hosted by Cornell on Saturday, Feb. 21.
