Kinkaid Honored by the Hockey Commissioners' Association

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – The awards keep coming for Union College men’s ice hockey goaltender Keith Kinkaid, who was a Hockey Commissioners’ Association Honorable Mention Rookie of the Month selection. The accolade is the third for Kinkaid this month. He was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week on Nov. 16 and ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week on Nov. 30.
Kinkaid, who helped the Dutchmen got 3-0-3 in November, posted a 3-0-1 record with a 1.93 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.
He earned wins against St. Lawrence, Clarkson and RPI and helped the Dutchmen advance past Lake Superior State with a shootout win in a 0-0 tie – his first career shutout – during the first round of the RPI tournament.
The Dutchmen play host to Colgate on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.
