NHL Network Adds Union-Clarkson Game to Lineup

SCHENECTADY, NY – The Union College men's ice hockey game against Clarkson on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 will be televised nationally on the NHL Network. The game, which will still be broadcasted locally by Time Warner Sports Channel 3 in the Capital District, will be the third nationally televised Union game in the past two seasons.

The contest is expected to move from a 7 p.m. to a 7:30 p.m. start time.

The outing comes only eight games away from the end of the regular season and will likely have playoff implications. Last season, Union defeated Clarkson, 2-1, in the regular-season finale to earn home ice in the playoffs. The Dutchmen than swept the Golden Knights in two games to advance to the ECAC Hockey quarterfinal round.
