NEWBURGH, NY – Senior
Sarah Tardiff finished second overall to lead the women's cross country team to a first place finish at the Mount Saint Mary's Invitational on Saturday. Fifteen teams competed at this meet.
Tardiff recorded a time of 21:35.69 in the 5K. The overall winner of the meet was Pace University's Brianna Cano, who marked a time of 21:09.44.
The Dutchwomen also had two other top-10 finishers. Sophomore
Erin Horgan finished fifth with a time of 22:22.09 and senior
Ramsey Steiner finished eighth with a mark of 22:35.59.
The Dutchwomen will head to Canton, NY on Oct. 10 for the Liberty League Championships hosted by Saint Lawrence. The match is set to start at 11 a.m.
